Weekly Goals and Crocheting

My goals for the weekend worked out so well, I thought it might be a habit worth continuing.
Here’s what I’m working on this week.

Yup, a big mess of cotton string I am somehow wrestling into a semblance of usable kitchen cloth. I’ve just learned how to do this in any sort of constructive way, and now have thoughts of Christmas gifts. A little late in the game, I know. I can give it a good college try though.

This week we have quite a full dance card, so my 1 meager goal will be to produce 4 more dish clothes. That is all. I’m not exactly speedy at this new found skill. It’s taken every scrap of spare time I have to produce the 2 and a bit I’ve made so far. That means, as I’m waiting for my oatmeal to boil, I crochet. As I’m waiting for my carpool to pick me up, I crochet. Instead of reading before bed, I crochet. Eeeking out 5 minutes of time is about the best I can do right now. Making 4 of these is a more illustrious goal than one would think.

To recap the weekends goals, soap made, and in the thrift store purchased molds.

The Husband took this picture for me. Blame him.

Not pictured, but equally as productive, dogs were also washed, leaves were raked, and prepatory steps for the FriendsGiving were taken. Check. Check. Check.
